Not really spoiler-ish, but just in case!
When we first started getting the promotional clips for the premiere of Season Seven, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It was fairly obvious from the teaser trailer exactly what it was that Tony was up to.
I wasn't sure exactly how I felt about Tony apparently trekking off on a rescue mission. It was strange. As much as I used to love Ziva, I found myself unable to care whether or not she was back for a new season after the cluster that was Season Six.
I'm not going to go into details about every single thing that happened during the episode, because if you're a fan, you watched it and there's no point in me recapping, but some of the things worth mentioning:
*I can now completely forgive McGee for his douchebaggery last season.
*Michael Weatherly did an amazing job.
*I kind of hated Abby during the last two seasons, but even in the short amount of time she was in the episode, she redeemed herself as well.
*Gibbs is... well, Gibbs. He seemed to be more Gibbs-like in this episode than he was all last season which was nice.
* ETA- Two Words: SHOULDER. HOLSTER. Need I say more?
The beginning of the episode was weird for me, but by the very end? I'm not going to lie. I might have had a tear or two in my eye. Season Six very nearly ruined NCIS for me, but in just one hour Season Seven has drawn me back in.

Eeeehehehe! All you East Coasters suck BTW. Just had to get that out there. I'm struggling to keep my ass off the internets so that I don't completely ruin the ep for myself! But it's still an hour and a half away and I can't wait!!! SO EXCITED!!!
