Well, what can I say about the Season 7 premiere of NCIS? It was phenomenal! I waited impatiently all summer long, fearing the worst, that the show was going to be as big of a disappointment this year as it was last. But I was proved wrong! :)

Everything about it was fantastic, it seems like they finally made the new writers actually watch the past 6 seasons this time around! The characters are back to the way we know them from past years.

AND!! OMFG McGee! I never thought in a million years that Tony and McGee would get as close as it seems they have in the time that Ziva was gone! Not to mention that McGee FINALLY grew up and is at last the brave agent we all hoped he would eventually turn into. LOVE HIM. <3 <3

The whole cast was fantastic in the episode, and we have GIBBS back! Not "I'm sad that my ex-lover died and this douchebag took over" Gibbs, but our beloved Gibbs of seasons past!

TONY. O-M-G. What else is there really to say? I mean, there have been quite a few Tony-centric episodes, and we all know about the fetish the writers have for Tony-Whump...(also the writer of this blog...huge Tony-Whump fetish)* but OMG he was above and beyond anything that I could have ever ever anticipated! EVERYTHING about his performance, from the way he fought to not talk to the way he tried so hard to convince Gibbs and Vance to hear his case about going to rescue Ziva...just...amazing.

Speaking of Ziva...I never thought I'd see our lovely Mossad assassin broken. But she was, is, and she did it so well. The way that she couldn't take her eyes off Tony while they spoke to each other...wow.

Overall, It was great. Can't wait for next week's ep. Just praying that they don't fuck it all up like they did last year. *fingers crossed* And please please please, don't turn McGee into a pussy again! I <3 tough, finally-coming-into-his-own McGee. Let me keep him? :)
